The Swabian Criminal Dinner 'Sherlock Holmes and the Poisoned Maultäschlesupp' – a delicious multi-course menu in a stylish ambiance surrounded by an exciting criminal case at the Zunfthaus zur Schmiden in Zurich.
'Sherlock Holmes and the Poisoned Maultäschlesupp'
Yes, you read that right, the famous master detective Sherlock Holmes and myself, Dr. Watson, have found ourselves in the Swabian region, admittedly not entirely voluntarily. However, our genius couldn't refuse the invitation of an old acquaintance, Baroness von Zuckerberg, to a gala dinner once again. So here we are, dining just at the time in the adjoining room of the restaurant, where you will enjoy a delicious 3-course menu this evening.
In fleeing from his dinner neighbor, the endlessly chattering Swabian baroness, the detective narrowly misses the supposed murder of the hostess's husband, Baron von Zuckerberg.
Well, his health condition wasn't the best. But to suddenly fall face-first into the Maultäschlesupp is not the fine English way to die, even in Swabia. For Sherlock Holmes, however, the previously deadly boring evening is saved.
A dialect crime story is on the agenda, an extremely tricky case as well, since the investigation results seemingly exclude any influence of poison. The questioning of witnesses, the forensic expert, and some of the dinner guests make several innocent lambs in the hall appear suspicious.
Eagerly and in high spirits, the famous detective cranks up his little grey cells. Already the "Swabian cleverness" is spreading, but no false home builder can fool the master so quickly. For him, the solution to the case will soon be clear. As always, however, he allows us to stumble in the dark for a while before the murderer is virtuously caught.
Perhaps you will soon have the solution ready as well, for you also have a say in the matter this evening.
The 3-course menu will be served by the gastro team at the Zunfthaus zur Schmiden. The Krimi Dinner will begin at 7 PM, ensuring thrills for nerves and palate. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
Admission: 6:30 PM / Menu and theater play are included in the price / Table and seat assignments will be made on site.
