CCR HITS GALORE

Following their celebrated performance in November 2023, the British tribute band Creedence Clearwater Review returns to Pratteln in December 2024. "The Green River Tour" offers a chance to hear the songs from Creedence Clearwater Revival's first number one album and many other timeless classics by the band, led by the songwriting genius John Fogerty.

With sold-out shows worldwide, including a brief residency in sunny Bahrain, Creedence Clearwater Review has established itself as the definitive number one Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute act among die-hard fans. After years of touring, solidifying their status as the most authentic, honest, and powerful homage to CCR and John Fogerty, the Review now embarks on "The Green River" tour, celebrating the US number one album from 1969. The record includes CCR's biggest hit, "Bad Moon Rising," which climbed to number two on the US singles chart and even reached the top spot in the UK charts. The title track also made it to number two in the United States. Thanks in part to these two songs, the album "Green River" was hailed by critics as the musical centerpiece of the CCR sound. The tribute band will perform the entire album on the current tour. The two-hour show will of course feature many more timeless classics from the band's rich repertoire, as during the short period from 1968 to 1972, they delivered an incredible series of hits and became one of the greatest bands in the USA. In addition to the aforementioned tracks, songs like "Proud Mary," "Have You Ever Seen The Rain," "Fortunate Son," "Up Around The Bend," "Born On The Bayou," and "Down On The Corner" will evoke a warm nostalgic feeling. The Review will also present unique CCR adaptations of iconic numbers like "I Heard It Through The Grapevine," "Suzie Q," and "I Put A Spell On You."

MERCILESS DEATHCORE HAMMER

Hearty Deathcore hits instead of Silent Night. One week before Christmas, it will be really loud again at Z7 this year. On December 18th, the US Deathcore heroes Fit For An Autopsy will rock Pratteln together with Sylosis, Darkest Hour, and Heriot. Those who are into breakdowns, blast beats, heavy riffs, headbanging, and circle pits should not miss this party.

The relentless hits of Fit For An Autopsy mix excessive, powerful Death Metal with atmospheric groove and passionate personal lyrics that uncompromisingly reflect the dark state of our world. With their nameless first demo from 2008 and the EP "Hell On Earth" released the following year, Fit For An Autopsy immediately created one of the most intense versions of the then emerging Deathcore genre. The debut album "The Process Of Human Extermination" soon earned them a place among the giants of the genre. 16 years after their founding in Jersey City, FFAA has not lost any of their intensity. "Surviving depends on evolution. When conditions change and the tides turn, we must change with them to stay one step ahead of the forthcoming challenges," say the musicians. It is clear that Fit For An Autopsy have internalized this mantra, as they continue to evolve with each new work. The band not only blurs the boundaries between technical metal virtuosity, Death Metal threat, Hardcore intensity, and abstract approaches but embodies its own vision. The latest album "Oh What The Future Holds" from 2022 elicited the following lines from the critic at morecore.de, "Fit For An Autopsy simply delivers. Almost every song hits, the riffs and rhythms as well as the dynamics and balance between breakdowns, vocals, atmosphere, and lyrical creativity are more original than ever on album number 6, leaving no further desires unfulfilled." In June 2023, they presented "The Aggression Sessions," a split EP with their colleagues Thy Art Is Murder and Malevolence, immediately followed by a fall performance as a Special Guest of Thy Art Is Murder in Pratteln. This year, Fit For An Autopsy return as the leaders of a relentless quartet to Z7.

In January 2024, LaFee took the stage in Cologne for a live performance for the first time in 15 years. And this year, the musician is finally going on tour again. Shortly before Christmas, she will bring her "Kriegerin Tour 2024" to Z7. We look forward to reuniting with one of the most fascinating German artists of the past two decades.

On January 23, 2024, the indie-pop band Blond from Chemnitz performed at the Cologne Live Music Hall. And suddenly, SHE was on stage: LaFee, along with Blond, performed their hit "Heul doch" together. The audience went wild. "Being live on stage again for the first time in over 15 years was simply awesome," the singer commented, saying, "Bring on 24." The LaFee phenomenon is definitely back: The artist, who garnered various gold and platinum awards with her first two albums, "LaFee" (2006) and "Jetzt erst recht" (2007), and who shaped and dominated the first years of the new millennium like few others in Germany. After the release of her fourth album, "Frei" (2011), she retreated from the music scene. Her fans had to wait a whole 10 years for a musical sign of life. In 2021, she made a chart comeback with the album "Zurück in die Zukunft," which contained covers of international hits from the 80s and 90s translated into German. To the people magazine Vip.de, LaFee revealed: "I decided to come back because it just felt right. I had taken some time off to catch my breath since I had been making music for so long. Starting so young, there came a point where I had to find myself and ask: Is there anything else in my life besides music? But at the end of the day, I always have music in my heart and love making music above all." At the end of 2023, "Best of LaFee" was released. The double album is a journey through the musical development of one of the most exciting pop acts of recent years. From the beginnings of the young, rebellious LaFee to the matured artist who has redefined her musical identity. The "Best of" album, however, was only a prelude to what is to come in 2024. In February, LaFee posted a photo on her social media channels singing into a studio microphone, with the caption "Great session." We are looking forward to the result of this session and can hardly wait for the musician to make a stop at Z7 with her "Kriegerin Tour 2024" after fifteen long years.

HELP! A BEATLES TRIBUTE

Since 2012, the Slovenian-American tribute band HELP! has been following in the footsteps of the legendary Fab Four from Liverpool. The group, led by singer and bassist Ernie Mendillo, has already performed more than 600 shows in 20 countries, offering the most authentic interpretations of Beatles classics available today. In January 2025, the quartet will take us on a fantastic journey back to the time of the mop tops for the eighth time at Z7.

In the 1960s, the Beatles revolutionized the music world. With a sound that was innovative for the time and their unique presence, the musicians from Liverpool quickly became the most popular band of their era. In their ten years together, they released 13 studio albums and broke countless records. Officially, over 600 million records have been sold to date, with estimates from the record label EMI suggesting it may be over a billion. The Beatles' hits are still ubiquitous over five decades after the group's dissolution and continue to be covered by musicians around the world. The formation of HELP! A Beatles Tribute is dedicated to the timeless melodies of John, Paul, George, and Ringo. They come closer to playing the Beatles' music as faithfully as possible than any other band. Fashion-wise and hairstyle-wise, the quartet perfectly honors the legendary originals. For years, the four musicians have been touring intensively throughout Europe, performing a repertoire of 40 songs from all periods of the Beatles' career. MODERN METAL FROM MOLDOVA

The Motocultor package will again tour European clubs and halls in 2025. The headliner is the Moldovan metal band Infected Rain. The band, led by the multitalented frontwoman Lena Scissorhands, electrifies with captivating riffs, cosmic electronics, Lena's vocal diversity, and intense lyrical themes. On the "Motocultor Across Europe Tour 2025," they will share the stage with the Brazilian vampire metal formation Semblant, the French nu-goth project Elyose, as well as Miruthan and Skin On Flesh.

Until 2008, Moldova was an unknown entity on the international metal map. But since then, one band has been tirelessly working to change that. Infected Rain has given a voice to Moldovan metal with six excellent albums. And that voice is extremely versatile. Singer Lena Scissorhands masters all facets of the genre – from hell-deep growls to heavenly clean vocals. Her band confidently accompanies her through their varied modern metal repertoire. Influences from bands like Korn, Deftones, or Kittie are undeniable but are refreshed in distinct compositions and transformed into compelling songs. Celebrated by the music press, with hundreds of thousands of streams and digital calls, worldwide shows on major festival stages, and tours with stars like Butcher Babies or Wednesday 13, the band has become indispensable in the modern metal scene. On February 9, 2024, Infected Rain took it a step further with their new studio album "Time." Described by the band as "a tribute to every fleeting second, every heartbeat, and every breath that has brought us to this moment," "Time" was once again produced, mixed, and mastered by Valentin Voluta. Everything has been running with the same constancy for decades, day after day, year after year, until the day the universally esteemed community leader, the Mayor of Muggenhofen, is found murdered.
A murder in Muggenhofen? And the mayor, no less? Police Chief Gustav Heberlein is faced with a puzzle. With his suitcase typewriter and snack box, he sets out to find the murderer. Could it be someone from the ranks of the close-knit village community? Was it a newcomer, an outsider, even a local resident? What does Eulalia Schreiblinger have to do with the story, and how involved is she in the council's machinations?

MASTERS OF THE TWIN GUITARS

Wishbone Ash is one of the most influential bands in rock history, having profoundly influenced colleagues from Thin Lizzy to Iron Maiden with their unique dual-lead guitar sound. Just under a year after their last show, the lineup led by original singer and guitarist Andy Powell returns to Z7 with songs spanning five and a half decades of band history.

Wishbone Ash has performed with us nine times since 2010, and we just can't get enough. Most recently, they were here in February 2024 with their "Live Dates" tour, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the eponymous million-seller. And in 2025, the fantastic live band from Torquay, England will once again grace Pratteln, treating their fans to an enthralling show and a program of all-time favorites. Founded in 1969, Wishbone Ash is now led by lead guitarists Andy Powell and Mark Abrahams (since 2017). Bassist Bob Skeat, who has been with the band for 27 years, sets the pace with drummer Mike Truscott (since 2022). Over the years, the band has experimented with various musical styles, from folk, blues, and jazz to pedal-to-the-metal rock and electronic music. But regardless of the style, Wishbone Ash's trademark remains the unmistakable sound of the two lead guitars that have influenced bands like Thin Lizzy, Judas Priest, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Iron Maiden, and Opeth. There is probably no other band that has made more of the twin-guitar concept than Wishbone Ash.

"We are the Champions," "We will rock you," or "Bohemian Rhapsody" – Queen has made rock history. To this day, the hits of the British quartet make not only die-hard music fans of the 70s and 80s dance and sing along. With the Oscar-winning film "Bohemian Rhapsody," a cinematic monument has been dedicated to the band.

The British tribute band The Bohemians revives the myth of the legendary band in a spectacular stage show. First-class musicians, singers, and entertainers present the biggest hits of Queen in a two-and-a-half-hour show, featuring songs from their early days to their "late works," from disco classics to rock ballads. The English producers of the show have spared no expenses on elaborate costumes and show effects, allowing visitors to feel transported back to the golden days of rock music for an evening.

With Rob Comber, The Bohemians have a frontman who delivers an authentic and high-caliber homage to Freddie Mercury, both vocally and visually. Bigger, better, louder: The legendary Paganfest is back! From 2008 to 2015, the annual events enjoyed an excellent reputation among Viking and Folk Metal fans. The consistently high-profile line-up made Paganfest a highlight in the concert calendar for fans. But then came the long break. After ten years, the tour is finally back on the road in 2025, presenting a best-of program that is packed with excitement. The metal pirates Alestorm will join Ensiferum, Týr, Heidevolk, and Elvenking for the fattest Pagan party of all time.

POLISHED METAL-MELANCHOLY

With the album "Anno 1996" and the follow-up EP "Songs Of The Dusk," Insomnium created two more masterpieces in terms of darkness and melancholy in the year 2023. These releases once again demonstrate the band's unbroken creativity and emotional depth.

5 YEARS OF GRAVE DIGGER

Four and a half decades of Teutonic metal – a cause for celebration. As part of the "45th Anniversary Tour '25," Chris Boltendahl and his tireless Ruhrpott legend Grave Digger will make a stop in Pratteln on January 26. The colleagues from Victory will be joining as special guests, performing old and new hits from their 41 years of band history. Opening the show will be the newcomers Rigorious.

With groundbreaking albums and unique anthems, Grave Digger has been one of the most influential and impactful bands in the German metal scene since the early 80s. Even after 45 years in the relentless business, there are no signs of fatigue. Chris Boltendahl, Jens Becker, Marcus Kniep, and newcomer Tobias Kersting remain a force to be reckoned with not only in the live sector but also consistently release high-quality albums at regular intervals. On their latest album "Symbol of Eternity," Grave Digger once again delivered all the trademarks that have defined the band for four and a half decades. Heavy headbangers with lightning-fast double bass attacks alternate with mid-tempo songs. There are relentless riffs, melodic refrains, opulent choir arrangements, and, of course, the distinctive voice of Chris Boltendahl. Everything a fan could desire, and more. Grave Digger has never been as diverse as on their latest album. Now, the legendary Teutonic metal pioneers are ready to write the next chapter of their band history. 20 YEARS HÄMATOM

Since their founding in 2004, Hämatom have been captivating audiences with their unmistakable mix of provocative lyrics, groovy metal, and Neue Deutsche Härte. Still shouting out their socially critical messages with brute force, precision, and straightforwardness, they reflect on two exciting and tumultuous decades in the music business on the "20 Years Hämatom Anniversary Tour 2024."

Through extensive touring, spectacular performances at festivals like Rockharz, Rock am Stück, or Wacken, and albums with stirring and committed lyrics, the band has built a loyal following over the past years, quickly rising to the top of the leading German rock bands. For a long time, Hämatom drove on the fast lane, steadily increasing their fan base and regularly visiting the charts. The year 2023 started off well – the makeup dates for the "Love & Hate Tour" were a complete success. But on August 15th, the shock came: Hämatom bassist Peter "West" Haag passed away suddenly after a brief, severe illness. The band announced the following day: "Yesterday, our West closed his eyes forever. There are no words that can express our sorrow and disbelief. We shared the stage, passion, and dreams for over 30 years and right now we simply do not know how to ever cope with his loss." Instead of dispersing in all directions, the remaining three members rallied together in the following weeks and declared, "Almost a month has passed since everything around us suddenly became quiet and unimportant. A month in which we cursed life and searched like children for someone to blame for this painful chapter.
