MELODIC ROCK AND PROG ANTHEMS

For almost forty years, the Canadian rockers Mystery have elegantly merged AOR and Melodic Rock with Neo-Prog drama into a top-class and highly emotional unit. Mystery celebrates an epic, melodic Prog Rock that is predominantly dreamy, with expansive guitars. Yes, you read that right, the famous master detective Sherlock Holmes and yours truly, Dr. Watson, have found themselves in the Swabian region. Admittedly, not entirely willingly. However, our genius couldn't turn down the invitation of an old acquaintance, Baroness von Zuckerberg, to a gala dinner once again. So here we are dining just at the time in the adjoining room of the restaurant where you will enjoy a delicious 3-course menu this evening.

While escaping from his chatty table neighbor, the endlessly chattering Swabian baroness, the detective narrowly misses the supposed murder of the hostess's husband, Baron von Zuckerberg.

Well, his health condition wasn't the best anymore. But to suddenly fall forward into the Maultäschlesoup is also not the proper English way to die, even in Swabia. For Sherlock Holmes, however, the otherwise deadly boring evening is saved.

A dialect crime mystery is on the agenda, an extremely tricky case as well, since the investigation results seemingly rule out any influence of poison. The questioning of witnesses, the forensic doctor, and some of the dinner guests makes many an innocent little lamb appear suspicious in the hall. Eager and in high spirits, the famous detective cranks his little gray cells into action. "Swabian cunning" is already spreading, but no false builder can deceive the master so quickly. For him, the solution to the case will soon be clear. As always, however, he keeps us in the dark for a while longer before the murderer is virtuously revealed.

However, perhaps you will soon have the solution at the ready as well, since you will also have a say in this evening.

The 3-course menu will be served by the gastro team of Hotel Restaurant Alpenblick. The crime dinner will kick off at 7 PM, promising excitement for nerves and palate. Admission is at 6:30 PM.

30 YEARS FULL SPEED AHEAD

With alternative rock hits like "Open Your Eyes" and "Lords Of The Boards", Guano Apes shook up the international music scene in the 90s. In March 1998, Guano Apes created a stir in Switzerland for the first time over three consecutive days – at ISC Bern, Luv Zurich, and Bolgenschanze Davos. Those who attended one of the gigs remember a whirlwind in the shape of Sandra Nasic, captivating everyone present. Her three bandmates rocked until the sweat was pouring and it was dripping from the ceiling. This live energy and the explosive mix of hard sounds with catchy melodies, along with Nasic’s impressive voice, made an impact. The album "Proud Like A God" went through the roof. It sold around three million copies worldwide and is still considered the most successful English-language debut album of a German rock band. A career launch of epic proportions.

Henning Rümenapp, Dennis Poschwatta, Stefan Ude, and Sandra Nasic produced an album in 1997 with youthful carefreeness in the Göttingen area, which subsequently led to a triumphal march through the rock charts of the world, giving a voice to Generation X and starting a career that has now lasted three decades. Nasic became the first and loudest woman in the genre, with "Open Your Eyes" and "Lords Of The Boards" becoming global anthems. The band received several platinum and gold awards, an Echo, and the MTV Europe Music Award for "Best German Act" - to name just a few accolades. But that was just the beginning. The following three albums consistently topped the German charts. More single hits followed, such as "Pretty In Scarlet", "Big In Japan", "You Can't Stop Me", and "Sunday Lover". In autumn 2024, the Guano Apes, still operating in their original formation, will return to Switzerland to properly celebrate the 30th birthday of their band with the fans.

Run, run, run, run – you better run! For 24 years, Crazy Diamond has been rocking through Switzerland, "year after year, running over the same old ground..." More than one hundred thousand people have already experienced the band live. Presenting the unique music of Pink Floyd is one thing. Giving the sound that certain something is another. Apparently, the six musicians and one female musician often hit a nerve. The songs are served powerfully, forcefully, and mightily with a touch of uniqueness.
